DeanWalley

Dean Walley was a boy inspired to be a writer by his childhood in Hannibal, Missouri, the boyhood home of Mark Twain. Surrounded by Twain’s legacy, Walley was inspired to make writing his life’s passion.

Out of Hannibal is the life story of Dean Walley as he was growing up in the boyhood home of Mark Twain. Along the way he rafted 1200 miles down the Mississippi and climbed to the summit of Mt. Fuji at sunrise. His sense of adventure never waned throughout his life and lead him to live all over the world including North Carolina, Los Angeles, Japan, France and currently, Kansas City.

Walley’s amazing storytelling ability was honed by 24 years writing for Hallmark cards, by writing more than 30 books for children, including “Lamont, The Lonely Monster” and “The Adventures of Super Pickle” and his years writing for the children’s television show, Dusty’s Treehouse.”
